Julio Villalobos was born in California and raised in México. From a very early age, he became interested in all kinds of art; from comics to poetry, from architecture to restoration to tattoos.
Having a career in architecture and restoration, Julio turned his interest to the field of tattooing starting his apprenticeship in 2006. Later, in 2008, he went to the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked at SecretSideWalk Tattoo. In 2011, Julio decided to visit South California where he spent one year working at TimeLine Gallery in San Pedro, CA and at Transitions Tattoos in Huntington Beach, CA. Currently, Julio is tattooing in the beautiful Wine Country, Napa, California.
Julio's favorite artistic endeavors are watercolors, oils, fresco, and gold leaf.
